Looking back to this year,and looking through all my drawings in this year,this is what I've spontaneously thought..

"Wow,I'm getting a lot worser..!"

I dont know..
Must've been the lack of practice this year.
I was'nt drawing as frequently as I was 2 years ago.I dont normally throw away my drawings,even doodles.Usually,I stack them together,put them in plastic folders (..many of them given as prizes for competitions in school.. XD ),and put them under my bed.

Basically put,I have a huge stack of used paper under my bed.

Looking through the drawings,I realised the amount of drawings seems to be decreasing each year.Especially last year and this year.And I have'nt seen any improvements either.

It feels a little frustating and dissapointing.

To make it up,I've been reading some tutorials on basic drawing.About lines,angles,proportions,lighting....those stuff.

And it feels fun,learning again.


I've been thinking about changing my style of drawing.A bit more realism.Guess that I'm too old for manga-style right now.
It's hard to change something that you are too familiar with.But it's worth giving a shot.

It's weird how your way of thinking and your point of view changes as you grow older..
